03 Aug COURAGEOUS TO KEEP GOING
by Favorie Kwan, Acts Subang 1030AM
When I took on the role of campus ministry representative, I had doubts that I was the right person for the role. I had thoughts like, ‘What if I leave this role as a crumbled Christian?’ and wondered if the experience would burn me out.
I often worried about ‘what if’ scenarios, and interactions can keep my mind up for hours.
For me, the biggest challenges were socialising and interacting with others. I often worried about ‘what if’ scenarios, and interactions can keep my mind up for hours. But God reminds me to remember His goodness and to look back. Doing that, I see how far I have come and how He has never left me. When I have doubts and fears, God’s promises fill me with the courage to keep going. It’s the courage that comes from the fact that even if I fall, I fall within His hand. It takes courage to start, but it definitely takes more courage to stay the course.”
When I have doubts and fears, God’s promises fill me with the courage to keep going.
